In Shi‘a theology, the doctrine of Imamate possesses a distinctive nature that differentiates it from other Islamic interpretations of religious leadership. This distinction arises from the belief that the Imamate is of divine and revelatory origin, functioning as the continuation and completion of Prophethood. Accordingly, it is evident that the Imam must share essential qualities with the Prophet in order to carry forward his divine mission. A study of the Qur’anic descriptions of the prophets appears at first to produce varying results. Certain verses emphasize their human likeness and equality with other people, while others clearly affirm their distinct spiritual and metaphysical qualities. Using a descriptive–analytical method, this research aims to identify the superhuman or transcendent characteristics of the prophets based on the Qur’an and the exegetical sources of both major Islamic schools, with special attention to Shi‘a commentaries. The findings indicate that, according to the Divine Word, classical exegeses, and narrations from both traditions—particularly Shi‘a sources—prophets and infallible Imams, while sharing the same human creation and outward appearance as others, differ in their spiritual and metaphysical dimensions. They occupy higher levels of existence and, by divine permission, possess distinctive attributes, knowledge, and capabilities not accessible to ordinary human beings.</p> <p>پیامبران مخصوصا خاتم ایشان نزد فریقین از جایگاه ویژه و اختصاصاتی نسبت به سایر مردم برخوردارند. در این میان نزد شیعه امامت از ویژگی خاصی برخوردار است به طوریکه این ویژگی موجب تمایز امامت نزد شیعه با دیگر فرقه های مسلمان شده است و آن ویژگی، وحیانی بودن امامت است که ادامه راه نبوت وتکمیل کننده آن می باشد. بدیهی است که این ویژگی مقتضی آن است که امام فردی شبیه پیامبر باشد تا بتواند راه او را ادامه دهد. مراجعه به قرآن کریم در خصوص ویژگی های پیامبران در نگاه نخست نتایج مختلفی را به دست میدهد از سویی ظاهر برخی آیات بیانگر یکسان بودن پیامبران با سایر مردم است و از سویی برخی آیات دیگر نشان از تفاوت هایی آشکار میان ایشان با سایرین دارد این مقاله با روش توصیفی و تحلیلی و با هدف یافتن ویژگی های فرابشری پیامبران بر اساس قرآن و منابع فریقین مخصوصا منابع تفسیری انجام گرفت برآيند اين تحقیق تحليلی نشان داد با کلام الهی و تفاسیر و روایات فریقین به ویژه منابع شیعی روشن میگردد پیامبران و امامان معصوم در عین اشتراک در جنبه آفرینش و مشابهت ظاهری بشری با سایر مردم از جهت روحانی و معنوی از سایرین متفاوت بوده و در مراتبی بالاتر قرار گرفته و لذا به ویژگی هایی ممتاز گشته و از آگاهی ها و توانایی های منحصر به فردی نیز به اذن الهی بهره مند شده اند.</p>
