Content analysis of Sahifa Sajjadiya

Abstract :
Content analysis is one of the methods to analyze a text or writing. It has different types including analytical, descriptive, inferential, etc. Descriptive content analysis is examining the outstanding content of a text in terms of quantity, and referential content analysis is a method to figure out the correlation between some outstanding characteristics inside and outside a text. Sahifa Sajjadiya is one of the greatest religious resources, in which in addition to prayers, Imam Sajjad (AS) referred to issues whose content analysis is significant. The present study aimed to carry out a content analysis on Sahifa Sajjadiya in top 6 contents (religious, mystical, educational, political, social and psychological). Throughout 11 prayers, for example, Imam (AS) referred to important psychological issues such as how to deal with difficulties, diseases, etc. In addition to examining most contents mentioned in Sahifa Sajjadiya, the present study attempted to determine the frequency of each content.
