An aspect of the Quranic miracle is its prophecies and prognostications. This article scrutinizes al-Sayyid al-Murtaḍā’s account in al-Mūḍīḥ ʿan jaha iʿjāz al-Qurʾān al-karīm (The clarification of the dimension of the noble Quran’s miracle), as well as other opponents or proponents of different aspects of Quranic prophecies. It is ultimately concluded that each of Quranic prophecies—including its prognostications of future events, as well as its revelation of present and past events, and its revelation of what is harbored in people’s hears—is an aspect of the Quranic miracle, and hence, they serve as unchallengeable evidence for Muḥammad’s prophethood.
